The public administrative school in Laïnde has its new classrooms

 An official reception ceremony was held on 23 May 2019 for this purpose.

 The students of the public administrative school of Laïnde, in Garoua, like those of other localities in the Far North, the North, the East, the cities of Douala, Yaoundé will no longer have to rush to get a seat in the classroom. They now benefit from new classrooms offered by C2D through its C2D-Education program.



 In Laïnde, the official ceremony was presided over by the Minister of Basic Education, Mr Serges ETOUNDI NGOAH, accompanied by His Excellency Mr Gilles THIBAULT, Ambassador of France to Cameroon. In the school's large courtyard, it brought together an extraordinary crowd of guests, including parents and teachers who were amazed by the beautiful books received, which will delight children. The headmistress of the school, very moved, presented her sincere thanks and those of all her collaborators for the 11 new classrooms, the 13 rehabilitated classrooms as well as the 2 latrine blocks, and the 2 master offices received, without forgetting the large fence that protects the establishment. For the French Ambassador, "training a man is not filling a box, it is lighting a fire and there are still many fires, classes, latrines, offices to be built, and France will always be at Cameroon's side to accompany it in this mission. Thanks to the joint commitment of France and Cameroon, the best is waiting for the Cameroonian schoolchildren. The Minister of Basic Education, for his part, has not failed to magnify the partnership between the two countries. He thanked C2D for the efforts already made in all regions of Cameroon and which contribute to the education of Cameroonian youth.

Beyond the Laïnde school, all the works produced and received in this phase include: 296 classrooms (186 of which were built and 110 renovated); 16 management blocks, each consisting of a director's office, a secretariat and a meeting room; 27 latrine blocks with 5 cabins; 13,840 bench tables; 56 desks and chairs for directors and 364 tables and chairs for teachers.

 A true mark of the Cooperation between Cameroon and France for the development of the education sector in general and the basic education sub-sector in particular, the C2D-Education Programme has as its general objective the implementation of the Strategy of the basic education sub-sector for the achievement of full and quality universal enrolment in primary education.
