The signing ceremony between Cameroon and France of the agreement for the allocation of the 3rd C2D to finance Phase II of the Financial Governance Support Project (PAGFI II) was held on 29 May 2019.

2.6 billion CFA francs is the amount granted by the C2D to Cameroon in order to improve its financial governance. Aiming to support the implementation of policies related to public finance governance, these resources once again mark the constant collaboration between the French government and the State of Cameroon. "I am delighted that, alongside major achievements in sectors as varied as education, rural development, infrastructure and health, C2D can also give substance to the reform of public finances... "said His Excellency Gilles THIBAUT, Ambassador of France to Cameroon.

An official reception ceremony was held on 23 May 2019 for this purpose.

The students of the public administrative school of Laïnde, in Garoua, like those of other localities in the Far North, the North, the East, the cities of Douala, Yaoundé will no longer have to rush to get a seat in the classroom. They now benefit from new classrooms offered by C2D through its C2D-Education program.

It was on the occasion of the first open house held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the Akwa village hall.

For the first time in thirteen years of implementation in Cameroon, the Debt Reduction and Development Contract (C2D) has opened its doors to the public in the city of Douala. The ambition of the C2D was to promote the local achievements of the C2D in the Littoral Region. This was done through classroom presentations (PowerPoint and videos) as well as exhibitions in stands.

This innovative technology has just been used for the first time in C2D sites, particularly in Bafoussam.

Users who use the road between the first and second crossroads of the bishopric in Bafoussam, in the department of Mifi, Western region, discover an unusual layer of concrete laid on the pavement: compacted roller concrete (BCR). This material made largely of cement has recently been laid on the pavement with a compaction train and dump trucks.

Throughout the event held from 16 to 24 February 2019 at the Yaoundé Convention Centre, the C2D stand continued to welcome many visitors, including high-ranking personalities.

After 12 years of satisfactory implementation, the Cameroon Debt Reduction and Development Contract (C2D) has resolutely embarked on a new communication dynamic. The objective of this paradigm shift is to make as many Cameroonians as possible aware of the Programme's achievements, which are spread across the country's ten regions. Participation in the Promote 2019 exhibition was part of this objective.
